Mansel Robinson, Prince Albert

1999

Mansel grew up in the small railroad and lumbering town of Chapleau, in Northern Ontario. He was writer-in-residence at the Berton House in Dawson City, Yukon, in 1999, and was playwright-in-residence in the Drama Department, University of Saskatchewan in 2000. Street Wheat will tour in 2002; Ghost Trains will be produced in French by Toupe du Jour in 2003; The Heart As It Lived will be produced by Persephone Theatre in 2003 as well. Mansel has a BA in English from the University of Western Ontario and an MA in English from Concordia University, Montreal. He lives in Saskatoon.
