The Vancouver Island Prolific freelance journalist and aspiring novelist is the first writer-in-residence to experience Dawson in winter; through the Christmas holidays to the Yukon Quest at the end of February. Darlene does reviews on a wide variety of topics from music to automotive and motorcycle reviews. She test drives cars, writes about motorcycles and has a motor sport column. Has published an award-winning piece on Helicopters in Equity magazine.
