Audrey Thomas, Galiano Island, B.C.

1997

Born and raised in New York State but has lived and worked on Canada=s west coast since 1959. She now makes her home on Galiano Island, B.C. Her first book, while published in the U.S., was written here and in West Africa. She is both very domestic and a wanderer--pretty well in equal measure. She has three grown daughters and two growing grandsons, all in B.C.
